“Balance” is a new vulnerable single by Rexx Life Raj

Earlier today (February 25), Rexx Life Raj released a new song called “Balance.” His heartfelt track is accompanied by a video that honors his mother. It seems as though he is constantly clutching a children’s book called A Mother’s Love, which is an irreplaceable memory. Listeners will be guided through a reflective experience through the track, in which the Bay Area artist shares his thoughts:

The song was inspired by a concept in Raj’s mind that he had been pondering for some time, and he shared that it was something that he had been dealing with. Being a caretaker, a musician, and having businesses and relationships at the same time was exhausting. In allowing myself the freedom to hum, I hope to affirm myself as well as the listener.”

In the weeks preceding this release, Rexx Life Raj dropped weekly releases until his full project became available. Firstly, there was “Lockheed Martin,” which was followed by “HIM,” “Alpharetta,” “Red Lobster Biscuits,” “Kimbo Slice,” and “Calling” featuring Terrace Martin.

Among the visuals Raj has released are videos for “Bounty” and “Bad Bad Bad.” The song in question is the outro track of his California Poppy 2 project, which was released in November. Features were provided by Kojey Radical and Juvenile on the eight-track album. The first California Poppy installment was released in 2018 and featured Will Fraker, and the legendary E-40. As of 2019, Rexx Life Raj has released Father Figure 3: Somewhere Out There, the third installment in his Father Figure series.
