Pacman Da Gunman and Hit-Boy have officially revealed Bulletproof Soul, Pacman’s collaborative effort with Hit-Boy on the third anniversary of Nipsey Hussle’s passing. Nine tracks appear on the project alongside additional assistance from Dom Kennedy, B. Carr, Peezy, J Stone, and Yhung T.O. Pacman’s mentor and Hit-Boy’s regular collaborator, the late Crenshaw legend served as Pacman’s mentor and a close friend to both artists.
As one of the last previews before the full release, Pacman delivered “Not Your Average,” accompanied by a King Spencer-directed video featuring Pacman sliding over a bouncy Hit-Boy beat, which set the mood for the entire release:
Before this release, two other singles were released, “Told Us No To Do It” and “Find A Balance.” As far as Hit-Boy is concerned, he has had an extremely productive year. A couple days before 2021 ended, he dropped the Magic album with Nas. Before that, he had already collaborated with Big Sean, a project whose What You Expect EP featured contributions from names like Lil Durk and Bryson Tiller.
Pacman Da Gunman has released his new EP, Less Is More, that was released last summer, under Nipsey Hussle’s All Money In No Money Out Records. At just over 26 minutes long, the eight-track compilation is filled with features from Blac Youngsta, Mozzy, Wale, Icewear Vezzo, and the late and great Nipsey Hussle.
