The official video for “Scamboy” by Guapdad 4000 was finally released last week, but the track itself is nothing new for Day 1 Guap fans. The song originally appeared on his 2017 project Scamboy Color, but he is releasing some new visuals now since it is better late than never. The recently released Chris Simmons-directed video is in keeping with Guapdad’s well-known humor and skit-like style. First the viewers are treated to an infomercial-style sketch before Guap delivers his verse on The ScamWood First Blaptism:

It was earlier this year in June that Guapdad 4000 and !llmind provided the deluxe edition of their joint project 1176, which included an additional feature by Rick Ross. Despite living in the Bay Area, Guapdad represented Oakland on “Oaklandish” alongside Rayven Justice and Too $hort. Earlier this year, he dropped off a video for his street racer single “Alpha” and quickly followed it up with the hilarious official remix featuring Bfb Da Packman.

Guap also contributed to various features including “HALO HALO (Remix)” by Shawn Wasabi, “Old School” with Marteen, and also on the deluxe version of Deante Hitchcock’s BETTER album on the introspective track “Déjà Vu”. In 2019, Guapdad 4000 shared his Dior Deposits project, which featured guest appearances from Maxo Kream, Denzel Curry, Slimmy B. G-Eazy, and more.
