Jim Jones and Fabolous team up for new “Coke Zero (Freestyle)”

Pusha T’s brand new album It’s Almost Dry will release on Friday (April 22), with the album’s standout track “Diet Coke” already making waves. Along with Fabolous and Jones, the instrumental is also popular with two other rap veterans, and just last night, April 19, it was released. They released a freestyle that featured their own interpretation of the track “Coke Zero.” The accompanying video was filmed on location in Medellin, Colombia, and shows the two New York originals sliding over the legendary productions of 88-Keys and Kanye West.

To dedicated fans, the new clip is not completely surprising. A preview of rapping with Jim Jones and Fab over the beat led to the release of “Coke Zero (Freestyle)” back in February. In the caption Jones wrote, “Woke up and chose a Diet Coke freestyle #CokeZero,” referring to him and his fam, the “fit Lit Fam,” in New York City. “I’m on my way to get spooky out here. We’re about to start bombin,” she continued.

In addition to his latest single, “We Set The Trends” this month, Jim Jones released a remix. The original track featured the Migos, and the remix now features DJ Khaled, Juelz Santana,and Lil Wayne. In collaboration with DJ Drama, he released the mixtape Gangsta Grillz: We Set The Trends which featured 25 tracks, featuring acts such as Icewear Vezzo, Dave East, Fivio Foreign, Rah Swish, Doe Boy, Dave East, Maino, and more.
