Lil Nas X hits the open field and more in his video “THATS WHAT I WANT”

As he did in previous videos, Lil Nas X doesn’t hold back when bringing “THATS WHAT I WANT” to life. In a film directed by STILLZ, he plays football, spends time with possibly a love interest, and puts his heart into wearing a wedding dress.

As of today (Sept. 17), fans can download Lil Nas X’s MONTERO LP, which comes with 15 tracks and collaborations from the rapper Doja Cat, Elton John, Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, and Jack Harlow, who performed on the chart-topping song “INDUSTRY BABY.” Additionally to the new album, fans can now watch a new music video for “THATS WHAT I WANT,” KBeaZy, Blake Slatkin, a Ryan Tedder and Omer Fedi-produced performance that sees star Georgia open up about her experience of looking for love as a black gay man:

In 2019, Montero released 7, an EP in which Cardi B, Travis Scott, and many others contributed to the project, which included Lil Nas X’s record-breaking track “Old Town Road” as well as a remix by Billy Ray Cyrus. Within a short period of time after 7 was released, Lil Nas X upgraded the single “Rodeo” with Nas providing the verse.
