Flatbush Zombies and RZA have created a certified banger. A group of NYC’s older and younger generations gathered together last week to perform “Plug Addicts,” a crazy number that featured the Wu-Tang legend himself producing as expected, and everybody delivered their hardest bars.

John Tashiro, from SHOTCLOCK, shot the accompanying visual for “Plug Addicts,” which pays tribute to Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs, with the band wearing suits in what looks like an abandoned movie theater in Los Angeles. Across the way, Flatbush Zombies perform their bars inside a birdcage, perhaps as a nod to the Wu-Tang Clan’s classic song “Triumph.”

According to an official press release, Flatbush Zombies and RZA are collaborating together for the second time after their 2012 album “Just Blowin’ In The Wind”:

“I’ve been looking forward to seeing the Flatbush Zombies forever. The lyrical style they use is reminiscent of my time with Gravediggaz. Hopefully we will do more of this in the future.”

Members of the Zombies elucidated on the connection:

The rapper RZA was a lot like me, a fellow producer and artist. I am currently writing history with him. In the long run, he has created a lot of music that influenced my decision to become a musician in the first place, it’s wonderful to see things come full circle.”
