The new “16” music video from Baby Keem is about a love story

Earlier today (Feb. 24), Baby Keem publicly debuted his latest music video for the song, “16.” This video was directed by Jonas Lindstroem and is a visual narrative illustrating Keem’s feeble and kaleidoscopic love life. These feelings are brought to life in a striking and graphic way by the stark production video. Keem delivers his poetic lyrics with the help of an array of cinematographic shots available for interpretation:

The song “16” was released by pgLang through Columbia Records. A track off Keem’s 2021 album The Melodic Blue was released, and in its first week on the chart it ranked at No. 5 in the Billboard 200, thanks to the sales of 53,000 album equivalent units. There are 16 tracks on The Melodic Blue, including contributions from Don Toliver, Travis Scott, and Kendrick Lamar. As part of the album’s release, we have received visually compelling visuals for tracks such as “Family Ties,” “First Order of Business,” “Issues,” and “Durag Activity.” In addition, Keem will embark on an eight-date tour of North America this spring, following his recent debut as a featured artist on Ye’s DONDA 2.
