Yung Bleu blessed his fans earlier this year with Moon Boy, a debut LP packed with 15 songs and contributions from numerous artists, including Kodak Black, Big Sean, H.E.R., Moneybagg Yo, Kehlani,Drake, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie along with Bleu on the reworked version of his hit “You’re Mines Still.” In addition to recording his own songs, Vernon made appearances on Moneybagg Yo’s “This Feeling,” Tink’s “Selfish,” Rotimi’s “Polaroid,” Mooski’s “Track Star (Remix),” and Ne-Yo’s “Stay Down.”
As reported last week, Yung Bleu dropped a new EP last week entitled No, I’m Not Ok, an emotional effort that features a single assist from Monica. As the title track clearly shows, Bleu has been betrayed in the past and is struggling to overcome those feelings:
Blue talked about how he differentiates his musical style from those of his peers in his interview for “Off Top” series.
