The new single by Emeli Sandé is called “Oxygen”

Fans of Emeli Sandé are in for a treat. Taking to social media, she explained the concept behind the album. It will be released on May 6th and will contain 18 tracks, including a collaboration with Jaykae for the lead single “Look What You’ve Done.” Via social media, the artist explained the inspiration behind the album, which she created during the worst of the influenza outbreak:

Over the past two years, I have recorded and produced this album in my home studio. During the recording process, I was joined by my wonderful family. I made my most personal album ever in this loving, liberating environment!

She continues the momentum by dropping a new track off her upcoming album, “Oxygen,” which features her physically and emotionally entwining with her lover:

Let’s Say For Instance follows the release of Real Life in 2019, an 11-track effort that reached or exceeded the top ten on Scottish, Swiss, and UK charts. The album was preceded by well-received singles such as “Extraordinary Being,” “Sparrow,” and “You Are Not Alone.”
