Kanye West or his label surprised everyone this Sunday by releasing his long-awaited new album Donda, a project that is quickly becoming one of the biggest successes of this year despite all the controversy and delays over the past month. Besides the 27 tracks on the album, there are contributions from high profile artists such as JAY-Z, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Westside Gunn, Ty Dolla $ign, Buju Banton, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Lil Yachty, Kid Cudi, Jay Electronica, and his late mother and album’s namesake.

Today (Sept. 2), Chicago DJ and singer Donda unveils new footage for “Come To Life.” Additionally, Mike Dean, Warryn Campbell, Jeff Bhasker, and Ojivolta co-produced the video. Kanye West relates to the listener his family, faith, and his soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian in the track:

Video footage of West’s listening session at Soldier Field in Chicago is featured in the accompanying video for “Come To Life,” which featured an image of Donda’s childhood home with a cross over its roof, which was an apparent symbol of both his subject matter and Christian faith. In the next scene, viewers see him being set on fire before seeing Kim in her then-famous wedding dress.
