As announced following his performance at this year’s Wireless Festival, Headie One will release his latest collection of work next month, called Too Loyal For My Own Good. It is also expected that the project will be home to June’s “Pound Signs” and last month’s hit, “2 Chains.”

Yesterday (Sept. 16), Headie One added to that with the ForeignGotEm and Quincy Tellem-produced track “Beggars Can’t Be Choosers,” which adheres to the street-oriented subject matter for which he is well known:

In the accompanying video for “Beggars Can’t Be Choosers,” which opens where the clip for “2 Chains” ended, Headie One is by the water laying on his bed, bearing the same title as the aforementioned project. A Rolls Royce truck eventually leads him over. After getting into the truck, he proceeds to perform the hard-hitting track in different locations while exercising his well-earned riches. In addition to his crew and girlfriend, Headie One shows that he’s not doing it alone on his journey to the top.

As far as its anticipated release date is concerned, Too Loyal For My Own Good will follow Edna, Headie One’s debut LP which featured 20 songs and contributors such as M Huncho, Kaash Paige, Stormzy, Young T & Bugsey, AJ Tracey, Drake, Future, Skepta, Mahalia, Aitch, and more. In addition to the chart-topping album, he followed it up two months later with a deluxe edition featuring eight additional tracks and collaborations with RV, Burna Boy, and Rich The Kid.
