Tyga and Doja Cat get “Freaky Deaky” on new single

With his latest single, Tyga links up with Doja Cat for “Freaky Deaky,” a track that combines the two artists’ previous catchy cuts and delivers some adult material that will suit both the bedroom and dancefloor. For Tyga, “Freaky Deaky” follows his recent releases “Ibiza,”“FREAK,” “Vacation” by Megan Thee Stallion, “Money Mouf” featuring YG and Saweetie, “Splash” with Moneybagg Yo, and “Lift Me Up” in anticipation of an upcoming album release.

There have been two years since Tyga released his last album, Well Done Fever. It was a joint project with DJ Drama and featured 10 cuts with one assist from DJ Chose. In the year prior to Legendary, Tyga’s seventh studio album was released, which consisted of 14 songs and features Bazzi, Blueface, Lil Wayne, J Balvin, Swae Lee, Chris Brown, Gunna, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Offset, which Tyga collaborated on to create the top ten hit “Taste.” A month or so later, Tyga then released Legendary deluxe, featuring nine additional tracks and collaborations with G-Eazy, Starrah, Ty Dolla $ign, Nicki Minaj, Takeoff, Rich The Kid, and more.

In addition, Doja Cat released her third studio album Planet Her last June, which featured 14 tracks. The album included guest appearances from Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, JID, SZA, and Young Thug. During the project’s first week of release, 109,000 album equivalent units were sold, propelling that project to the number two position on the Billboard 200. The album, like the Legendary compilation, was re-released in a deluxe format with an additional five tracks as well as collaborations with Gunna and Eve.
