“Rich Nation,” a proper introduction of his oft-harmonious style, first made waves in 2016 when Jamaican-British New London stepped out. In the years since, he’s provided loose tracks like “Sanction,” “Steelo,” “Patience,” “Drip Code,” and “Island,” the last of which featured veteran emcee Paigey Cakey.

His most recent release, “Trophy,” was an anthemic tune accompanied by an accompanying visual that showed New London breaking away from the traditional education system and following his dreams instead.

A new release from the international artist is now available, “Upper Echelon,” a music video that shows off that he has “elevated on all levels” and can only match his charisma with “the appropriate mate”. Since the 1970s, NYC has seen a resurgence in hip hop, partly because Brooklyn is emerging as the hub for the current drill movement, a genre that began in Chicago and has built up into the current sound of the times thanks largely to producers from the UK. Therefore, current frontrunners include Lil Tjay, Lil Tecca, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, J.I, Sheff G, and many more Adding New London’s unique journey and approach to the music certainly adds to the variety of sounds coming from the Big Apple.
