Video for “Out of Time” by The Weeknd

The Weeknd blessed the masses at the start of the year by unveiling his eagerly awaited dawn FM project. The album, described by The Weeknd as a sonic experience, features Tyler, the Creator, Oneohtrix Point Never, Quincy Jones, Lil Wayne, and Jim Carrey. His momentum has since kept on rolling as he has released a slew of fascinating visuals for tunes such as “Gasoline (XO Vision),” “Sacrifice,” “Take My Breath,” and now his latest, “Out Of Time.”

In the newly released video for “Out Of Time”, which was directed by Cliqua and features Jim Carrey and South Korean actress HoYeon Jung, both of whom can be seen in the video. By sampling Tomoko Aran’s 1983 song “Midnight Pretenders” and combining it with his own introspective lyrics, the platinum-selling artist flips a City Pop classic and blends it into his own song:

In support of his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour, Doja Cat will join the superstar on the road. In July, The Weeknd will kick off the World Tour in Toronto before wrapping it up in Los Angeles in September.
