This past January, Yung Bleu dropped his latest single “Walk Through The Fire,” featuring Ne-Yo on vocals, and being produced by Robby Hale, Nate B, Jerry Lang II, and Bleu himself. This latest visual from the generation-spanning duo was released earlier this week, and it captures a kind of relationship induced heartbreak that many people can definitely identify with:
Using a shot of Ne-Yo walking along the remnants of a burnt down home, Edgar Esteves creates the accompanying video to “Walk Through The Fire”. In the end, Bleu goes back to what took place. He’s seen spending time with his beloved, and the cause of the fire is revealed to be a fire caused by a freak accident with a stovetop water boiler. He runs back toward his girl in order to save her, but the situation appears to deteriorate from there.
With Moon Boy, Yung Bleu’s debut album released last year, you could hear 15 original tracks and collaborations with Gunna, John Legend, Moneybagg Yo, Kodak Black, Kehlani, Jeezy, Big Sean, Drake, Chris Brown, Davido, 2 Chainz, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. In addition to charting high on the Billboard 200, the album placed in the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
