It has been a few years since Ms Banks graced us with The Coldest Winter Ever, Pt 2, the sequel to last year’s The Coldest Winter Ever, which included twelve tracks and features by Tiggs Da Author, Moelogo, Kida Kudz, and Geko. In the ensuing years, she has rose to the top of the charts with top quality singles such as “Novikov,” “Nothin’ on Me” with Phil Speiser and Wow Jone, “You Don’t Know,” “Pull Up” with K-Trap, and “Dip” with Stefflon Don. As well as her own compositions, she has also contributed to the music of Nana Rogues, Tinashe, and more.

With her single “Go Low,” Ms Banks dropped a new offering to her catalog last weekend (Sept. 3). It’s an infectious track that is led by Splurgeboys’ genre-bending production:

“Go Low” sees Ms Banks dancing against her alter ego in the accompanying video, directed by Chris Chuky. During these lively and choreographed variations, both characters and crews make quick references to Havana Club rum.

There will be more music from Ms. Banks – hopefully, she will also release a full-length album in the future:
