Brandon starts the episode by asking what it was like to be good friends with Bubba Wallace, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logono and watch them blossom and become successful drivers without him.

Corey talks about how he went from signing a 5 year deal with Richard Petty Motor Sports to not having anything. Corey tells a story of how he made a tough career decision after being offered a Crew Chief position but turning it down because he still believed in himself and wanted to live the dream and race.

Corey mentions how mental health played a role early in his career and how he started seeing a sports phycologist after his first 7 weeks of competing on the biggest stage of his life. He tells the cast the story of how the motto “Stacking Pennies” came to life and how he used it to recover from one of the lowest moments of his life.
