In Del Rio, Texas, the Biden administration has temporarily discontinued using horse patrols to enforce laws on Haitian refugees.

According to a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official, DHS is using horse patrols to keep Haitian migrants out after disturbing images surfaced of the animal using whips. The Del Rio horse patrol has temporarily been discontinued. The spokesperson said that they would prioritize other methods for identifying individuals who are experiencing medical distress. There was no further information provided.

It was announced earlier this week that DHS would investigate the matter and determine what disciplinary measures are necessary. The department dispatched additional agents to the border to observe what was occurring.

The earthquake that devastated Haiti and the political turmoil that followed the death of former President Jovenel Moise forced thousands of people to flee the country, hoping to escape disaster.

12,000 people were staying at the border at one time. Although they set up temporary camps near the border, over 3,300 people have been turned away since September 17, when they attempted to enter the United States.

Haiti’s mistreatment of the Haitian people has been the subject of several public speeches, including Chris Brown’s Instagram Story, which he posted to bring attention to the issue.

There are things going on with Haitian refugees at the border that everyone should watch, wrote the singer of “Go Crazy”. We should assist no one in that state and should leave it to the fucking billionaires only.”. There is no peaceful way to solve the problem. Making us feel like cow ranchers… Hey everyone… look at what’s happening! Please!!!?????

Representative Maxine Waters says the treatment present at the border for Haitians is worse than what she experienced as a slave.

“I’m irritated. She stated, “I’m not just angry at the cowboys who were whipping Haitians with the reins, I’m angry at everybody”. “I don’t like the administration.”
